Working for Target just became more fun
Silicon Valley companies paved the way for corporate America to offer non-traditional workplace amenities and now Target has joined their ranks.
The retailer this week opened a 20,000-sq.-ft. employee center called Target Plaza Commons as part of its headquarters located at Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis, according to a report in the Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal. The facility is said to have a fitness center, open meeting areas and indoor and outdoor areas for employees to gather and play games. Also included is an indoor storage area for roughly 125 bicycles and a basketball court. To read the Business Journal’s report clickhere.
