Wolverine names Divol to board
Leading footwear manufacturer Wolverine Worldwide added an executive with an ideal background for a data insecure world to its board of directors.
The manufacturer of footwear brands such as Merrell, Sperry Top-Sider and Keds said Roxane Divol, SVP of alliances for Symantec Corp., joined its board. Symantec is one of the world's largest software companies that specializes in personal and organizational security, storage and availability solutions. Prior to joining Symantec, Divol was a partner in the San Francisco office of McKinsey & Company, a global management consulting firm.
"Roxane Divol is a talented executive who adds valuable strategic and global perspective to our already strong board of directors," said Blake Krueger, Wolverine Worldwide's chairman and CEO. "Roxane possesses an impressive track record with a strong marketing and sales background, along with her vast experience in the fast-moving world of digital technology. We are confident she will be a key asset as Wolverine looks to further strengthen its connections with consumers in today's ever-evolving marketplace."
In 2013, Divol was named one of the "Most Influential Women in Business" by the San Francisco Business Times. She received a MBA from INSEAD with distinction and a Masters in Engineering from Ecole Polytechnique, a leading engineering school and military academy in France.
