Neiman Marcus’ store in Lennox Square Mall, Atlanta, took top honors in

Neiman Marcus was not only selected as best overall entry, but also placed first in the department store category. The project, a remodel and expansion, was designed by Charles Sparks + Co., Westchester, Ill.

In addition to the grand prize, individual awards were given in a variety of retail categories. Office Depot’s prototype in Austin, Texas, took top honors in the category of environmental sustainability. A special award for branding and graphics was given to Adidas, for its Adidas Originals store in New York City.
