Winn-Dixie Sells 13 Georgia Stores

Jacksonville, Fla., Winn-Dixie sold 13 of its stores in Georgia as part of its bankruptcy reorganization plan. The grocer also will close 50 of its stores in Georgia by mid-September, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The sales were made to Wayfield Foods, All-American Quality Foods and a partnership between holding company Alex Lee and Associated Wholesale Grocers.
