Winn-Dixie sees 3Q income growth

Net sales in the third quarter of fiscal 2009 were $1.7 billion, an increase of $3.1 million, compared with the prior year period. Identical-store sales from continuing operations increased 0.2%, compared with the same period in the prior fiscal year.

The company now expects Adjusted EBITDA in fiscal 2009 to be between $145 million to $152 million, an increase from its previous estimate of $110 million to $125 million.
