Winn-Dixie reward card to include gas discounts

Jacksonville, Fla. Winn-Dixie Stores is launching a program that allows customers to earn gas discounts at Shell-branded and other participating gas stations when they shop in any of its Winn-Dixie stores in Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia.

As part of the Excentus fuelperks! Program, the Winn-Dixie Customer Reward Card has been redesigned to include a magnetic strip on the back to track every $50 in qualified purchases that customers make using the card to receive a 5-cent-per-gallon fuel discount redeemable at participating gas stations.

The more a customer spends using the card, the more points they will earn.

The grocery-store chain estimates that customers could save more than $133 million next year by using the card.
