One current and one former employee of Whole Foods Market have filed a federal class-action lawsuit against the grocer.
The lawsuit alleges that the company cheated the employees out of bonuses, according to
The Washington Post, and “at least 20,000 [potentially many more] past and present employees” were affected.
The suit, which seeks $200 million in punitive damages and triple unpaid wages, alleges that the retailer “engaged in a nationwide scheme to strip hard-working employees of earned bonuses in order to maximize their own profit.”
