Whole Foods implements CorTec software
Austin, Texas Culinary Software Services, a provider of back-of-the-house technology for the foodservice industry, announced that Whole Foods Market will implement Culinary’s CorTec Enterprise Software system at its Rockville, Md., commissary. Whole Foods already uses Culinary’s ChefTec system.
The new system will be used to enhance production management and requisitions and transfers at the Rockville commissary, which services more than 30 stores in the area, providing prepared and packaged foods for the natural- and gourmet-foods supermarkets. The commissary will deploy CorTec to keep production schedules on target with par levels that are triggered by sales at individual stores. CorTec will also streamline the company's process for managing the movement of product between the commissary and the stores, creating greater control and eliminating waste.
Using the functionality of ChefTec Software, CorTec provides an integrated system of back-office management tools that improve profitability by enhancing communications and control.
