Whole Foods Feels Katrina’s Impact

Austin, Texas, Whole Foods Market said it expects to incur a loss of $5 million to $6 million in sales from the impact of Hurricane Katrina, which analysts estimated could knock about 1? per share off earnings in the fourth quarter. The company shuttered five stores in South Florida for one to three days and two stores remain closed and inaccessible in Louisiana.
