Whole Foods to Expand in 2009

New York Whole Foods Market Inc. said it will open between 25 and 30 stores in fiscal 2009, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing Thursday.

In the filing, the company said it made the announcement on Monday at its annual shareholders meeting.
