New York City The COO and co-president of Whole Foods Market Inc. exercised options and sold 14,628 shares of common stock, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing Friday.

In a Form 4 filed with the SEC, A.C. Gallo reported exercising the options on Thursday for $11.44 apiece and selling the shares on the same day for $40.76 apiece.
