White-label integrated platform expands global footprint

AUSTIN, Texas — Mozido, a cloud-based, white-label integrated platform of mobile payments, commerce and marketing, has appointed former senior CorFire executives Steve Bacastow and Charlie Wiggs to its management team.



Mozido enables companies in retail, financial services, consumer packaged goods and telecom to serve consumers, small businesses and global corporate brands with and without bank accounts. Its platform complemented by real-time customer behavior analytics.



“Steve and Charlie both bring extensive experience in the mobile payments and commerce space,” said Greg Corona, CEO and president, Mozido. “The addition of these seasoned and accomplished executives to our management team will enable Mozido to provide innovative technology solutions to our clients, as well as accelerate our speed to market.”



Steve Bacastow joins Mozido as SVP of operations. An expert in the alignment of IT with business strategy, he will be responsible for leading all company operations functions with a focus on maximizing growth and profitability and meeting compliance standards. He most recently served as SVP of service and delivery at CorFire and led the successful launch and certification of the first commercial Trusted Service Manager in North America, supporting the Google Wallet.



Charlie Wiggs has joined Mozido as SVP of business development. Wiggs will drive new business acquisition in key markets, including the United States, Mexico and India, as well as manage relationships with major global clients. Prior to joining Mozido he was VP of sales for CorFire, where he was responsible for developing and executing the company’s sales and market development strategy for financial institutions, retailers and mobile network operators.
