Whirlpool exec earns LEED AP certification

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. Richie Heumann, senior account manager of Whirlpool Corporation's North Atlantic division, recently earned Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional certification. The LEED AP certification will allow Heumann to better support his trade customers with building solutions to help make constructing sustainable homes easier.

This year, he also was recognized with the "Whirlpool Corporation Trade Relations Industry and Community Service Award." The award recognizes Heumann's ongoing leadership, building industry contributions and countless hours of community involvement.

"His sustainable building knowledge and leadership is an asset to Whirlpool Corporation and to his customers' building projects."
