A lot of what’s happening in home today is about creating the right atmosphere. Cocooning may have come and gone, but people continue to make the home an extension of their lifestyle, and getting the aroma right seems to be part of the trend. Whether it’s warmers, oil-infused wood or old-fashioned candles, consumers today have a plethora of means to get the home smelling right.
Naturally, though, what has been done must be topped, particularly for the luxury purchaser. So Lladró, with the cooperation of Colette, the chic Parisian retailer, has begun the rollout of a home fragrance line. The company is describing Lladró Fragrances (pictured) as a new concept in scents for the home. Designed as individual porcelain art sculptures that work in varied interior styles, the collection is designed to look as good as it smells, which suits people not content to keep their aroma production ensconced in some out-of-the-way corner.
