Western Union Comes to Wal-Mart Canada

Englewood, Colo., Western Union Co. announced Tuesday that its money transfer bill-paying services will be offered in Wal-Mart Canada stores. Western Union and Wal-Mart Canada Corp. reached agreement on Tuesday; financial terms were not disclosed.

Western Union money-transfer services became available Tuesday at certain Wal-Mart stores in the Toronto area. A chain-wide rollout of both money transfer and bill-paying services to all 287 Wal-Mart Canada stores is scheduled to be completed in early 2008.
