Welch's looking to win in snack category

Retailers on the lookout for new products will find an innovative item from Welch’s gives shoppers a whole new way to PB&J and extends the Welch’s brand deeper into the snack category.


Welch’s PB&JSnacks recently hit store shelves of select supermarket chains in the northeast such as Tops, Pathmark, A&P, ShopRite and Market Basket, with broader national distribution expected by this summer. The round, bite-sized snacks feature a chewy center made with real concord grapes or strawberries surrounded by a peanut butter coating that is either creamy or crunchy.



According to Welch’s, a brand best known for its 100% grape juice product, the Welch's PB&Jsnacks are a first of their kind and include 100% of the daily recommended value of Vitamin C, are a good source of Vitamins A & E, and are made with natural flavors and colors.


Welch’s PB&J Snacks, along with Welch’s Fruit Snacks and Welch’s Fruit ‘n Yogurt Snacks, are manufactured and marketed by The Promotion In Motion Companies, Inc. under license from Welch Foods, Inc.
