Weimin leaves Best Buy China

MINNEAPOLIS Best Buy China vp, chairman and general manager Lu Weimin has left the company for personal reasons, according to reports.

Reports indicate that Weimin did not leave because of the division's failure to meet goals. A representative from the company is reported as saying that the China division actually grew sales for Best Buy.

Redmond Yeung, president and coo of Best Buy Asia Pacific, will serve as interim Best Buy China vp, chairman and general manager until a replacement is found.
