Warner Bros. Home Entertainment names tech head
BURBANK, Calif. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group announced that it has named Chuck Dages evp of emerging technology. Dages will report to Kevin Tsujihara, president of Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group.
In his new role, Dages moves from Warner Bros. Technical Operations to the Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group where he will continue to have oversight of Motion Picture Imaging (the Studio’s post production facility for film mastering, restoration and digital imaging for motion picture and television) and the Advanced Media Editorial department (prepares feature films for distribution on airlines, cable networks and broadcast television). Additionally, he will lead various projects involving industry and government groups related to repurposing the Studio’s entertainment assets. .
"Chuck is a key member of the team that has led our company into the digital space,” said Tsujihara. “I’m confident that in this new expanded role, he’ll continue to help us maintain our position as a tech leader in the industry, while defining the very future of our business."
Prior to joining Warner Bros., Dages held the position of vp of East Coast operations and vp of engineering at CBS Television Network.
