Walmart.com extends standard shipping rates for holidays

BRISBANE, Calif. Walmart.com announces that it's extending standard shipping rates for the next three days, as well as its free shipping service with Site to Store Express, for customers to receive their gifts in time for Christmas. In addition, Walmart.com has extended final shipping deadlines through Dec. 22 for arrival before Christmas.

Walmart.com extended its standard shipping deadline and Site to Store Express deadline to 11:30 p.m. PT on Dec. 20; its two to three day shipping deadline to 11:30 p.m. PT on Dec. 21; and its one day shipping deadline to 11:30 p.m. PT on Dec. 22.

"Walmart.com is extending its shipping deadlines to make it easy for last-minute shoppers to find the right gift at the right price in time for Christmas," said Cathy Halligan, Walmart.com chief marketing officer. "By providing standard shipping for the next three days, as well as our Site to Store Express shipping service, we're giving customers more ways to save on their online orders this year."
