2/15/2013

Brett Biggs, Walmart U.S. CFO, will share his views on the company’s performance during an upcoming Doing Business in Bentonville meeting.

Bigg’s is slated to speak at the event scheduled for 7 a.m., March 13 in Rogers, Ar., and could have some interesting things to say given the timing of the event. During his Doing Business in Bentonville presentation which follows both events, Biggs will address what is important to Walmart in 2013 from his unique perspective. As CFO of Walmart U.S., Biggs is responsible for U.S. finance functions including strategy, merchandising, logistics, financial services, real estate, operations and financial planning and analysis. Before being appointed to his current role, he served as SVP of operations for 230 Sam’s Club for 13 southeastern states. Prior to that, he was SVP international strategy and mergers and acquisitions. In that capacity, Biggs led the strategy and execution for Walmart’s entry into Japan and India, as well as acquisitions and partnerships in China, the U.K., Brazil and Central America. He was also CFO for Sam’s Club.
