Walmart finds interesting use for drones

Drones are getting a lot of attention as a means of delivering products to customers. However, Walmart is reportedly testing the applicability of drones a little further back in the supply chain.



According to CNBC, Walmart is running a pilot of proprietary drone technology that takes photos of items in its Bentonville, Arkansas, distribution center and sends data on their location to warehouse employees.
