Walgreens Names Chief Marketer

Deerfield, Ill. Walgreens has named Kim Feil to the new position of VP and chief marketing officer. Previously, Feil was senior VP and chief marketing officer for Sara Lee North America.

Walgreens also announced that George Riedl, executive VP of marketing, has been named executive VP of merchandising. Riedl will continue overseeing pharmaceutical purchasing, front-end purchasing and merchandising, marketing services and research, global sourcing and retail concept innovation.
