CHICAGO — Walgreens' chief marketing officer Kim Feil was inducted into the In-Store Marketing Institute Hall of Fame Thursday morning in Chicago.
Feil was a seasoned consumer packaged goods marketer when she joined Walgreens in fall 2008, and as company CEO Greg Wasson recently noted, she propelled Walgreens from being a good advertiser to a world class marketing organization.
"Wow! Who is that person?" Feil said after being invited to the stage to receive her award at the institute's annual Shopper Marketing Summit in Chicago. "I want to accept this award on behalf of the merchandising and marketing teams at Walgreens," Feil said. "I work with an amazing group of people."
Other inductees included Joe Radabaugh, director of shopper marketing and insights with Nestle, and Mark Scott, former VP shopper marketing and business development at Kimberly-Clark.
