Walgreens expands senior management team
DEERFIELD, Ill. Walgreens announced three new members of its senior management team.
Bryan Pugh joins Walgreens as vp of format development, focusing on affordable and essential merchandise, including basic staples such as food items, paper products and other consumables.
Colin Watts joins Walgreens as a vp and president of Walgreens Health and Wellness disease management. Watts will be responsible for developing the business model, strategy and capabilities necessary for Walgreens to address the growth opportunity in prevention and population health management for patients across all of Walgreens platforms, including its drug stores, retail health clinics, worksite health centers, pharmacy benefit management services and specialty and home care facilities.
Jeffrey Zavada joins Walgreens as a vp and chief sales officer with responsibility for selling health care services to managed care organizations and other payors.
