Walgreen Promotes Trio of Executives

Deerfield, Ill., Walgreen Co. promoted Trent E. Taylor to executive VP and chief information officer, from senior VP and CIO. Taylor joined Walgreens in 1992 as manager of information systems after working as a consultant with Ernst & Young in Chicago.

The company also promoted Gregory D. Wasson to executive VP and president of Walgreens Health Services (WHS), the company's managed care division. Previously, Wasson was a corporate senior VP and president of WHS.

Kermit R. Crawford was promoted to VP and executive VP of PBM services for WHS. Previously, Crawford was VP of PBM services. Crawford joined Walgreens as a pharmacy intern in 1983.
