Walgreen Acquires Cleveland Regional Chain

Deerfield, Ill., Walgreen Co. agreed to acquire selected assets of Medic Drugstores, a 23-store chain in the Cleveland area. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The acquisition does not include Medic’s home health-care division.
