Wal-Mart Promotes Asda COO to President

London, Wal-Mart Stores Inc. named Andy Bond as the new president of its U.K. grocery unit, Asda. Bond was promoted to the position from the role of COO. He replaces Tony DeNunzio, who left Asda to become chairman of Dutch retailer Vendex KBB BV.
