Dearborn, Mich. Wal-Mart opened a new Supercenter geared toward Arab-American shoppers in the Detroit suburb of Dearborn.
Catering to the needs of the local community, which has a large Arab-American population, the store showcases a wide selection of multicultural merchandise. The grocery department will offer an expanded selection of Middle Eastern products, as well as a diverse selection of merchandise from health and beauty products to greeting cards.
In addition, associates' nametags will identify which languages they speak.
