Wal-Mart Names President of Germany Unit

Frankfurt, Germany, Wal-Mart International has tapped David Wild for the president and managing director slot for Wal-Mart Germany. Wild replaces Kay Hafner; no reasons have been given for the change.

Wild joined Wal-Mart in 2004 and relocated to Germany to serve as the retailer’s chief merchandising officer.

Wal-Mart has 88 stores in Germany.
