Wal-Mart to Expand Georgia Distribution Center

Bentonville, Ark., Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. says it will expand its distribution center in Monroe, Ga. The retailer plans to begin construction on the expansion next summer, with planned service to the stores expected in the spring of 2006. The Monroe facility serves stores in both Georgia and South Carolina.
