Wal-Mart celebrates 35 years on the NYSE

On Aug. 23, Wal-Mart Stores celebrated 35 years of being listed on the NYSE when cfo Tom Schoewe and a group of associates representing Wal-Mart U.S. Stores, Sam’s Club, International, logistics and finance areas rang The Closing Bell at the New York Stock Exchange.

Wal-Mart was first listed as a NYSE member on Aug. 25, 1972.
