Wal-Mart Announces More Price Cuts
Bentonville, Ark., Wal-Mart Stores said on Thursday that it is cutting prices on 15,000 more items this week as the company continues its push to boost sales as it heads into the holiday season.
The new round of price cuts follow the retailer's move on Sept. 30 to begin cutting prices on hot toys. It said at the time that it would introduce price cuts on different toys each week during October.
The new round of price cuts extends beyond toys into food, home and apparel items.
