VIZIO reports exec changes

IRVINE, Calif. VIZIO, manufacturer of high-definition flat panel TVs, has made five new executive appointments to help with the company's growth.

"We are excited about all the new people who have recently joined the VIZIO family," said William Wang, ceo and cto of VIZIO. "Their expertise and insight into our fast-paced and constantly evolving business will allow us to continue to expand the market with our efficiency and value goals."

On Oct. 1, 2007 Rob Brinkman joined VIZIO as the vp of operations. He is responsible for the development of the new organizational structure that is required for VIZIO to attract more customers and grow into new territories. He joins VIZIO after four years with Princeton Digital where he was the president from 2006 until the company recently licensed the brand to a key supplier.

On Oct. 9, 2007, Eunice Tseng joined VIZIO as the vp of management information systems (MIS). She is responsible for ensuring VIZIO's internal infrastructure can handle the expected increase in worldwide sales and the addition of new customers and business partners. She held the position of international accounting manager at Broadcom. 

John Schindler joined VIZIO on Nov. 26, 2007 as the vp of new Products. His twelve-year tenure with Gateway included product management for the company's $3 billion dollars in annual revenue, product marketing and the development of wireless home networking programs.

In February, Kyle Wescoat joined VIZIO as vp and cfo. He will be responsible for VIZIO's financial function in anticipation of the company's continued growth into new markets, additional customers and broader global partnerships. Most recently, he was the chief administrative officer for the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team.

John Morriss joined the company on Feb. 18, as the vp of partner management. He was previously with Hewlett Packard where he served as the vp and general manager for the Displays Business Unit from 2004 to 2007.
