Virtual Piggy reaches across the pond

5/21/2013

LOS ANGELES — Virtual Piggy, an online service that allows parents to monitor their children's online shopping behavior, is heading across the Atlantic for the first time.

The company has signed partnership agreements with Toy Galaxy and Toadstool in the U.K. to integrate the Virtual Piggy solution into both companies' e-commerce operations.

Toy Galaxy has stores across the London area and carries large brands such as Fisher-Price, V-tech, Lego, Chicco and Hornby. With their new online store the company will host a library of more than 9,000 products. Toadstool is a London-based company that sells educational toys.

"This is the start of what looks like a busy summer for Virtual Piggy," said Joe Peden GM of EMEA. "Our privacy and control features are resonating well with parents, children and stores throughout Europe."
