Vantiv appoints new marketing chief


Vantiv, a leading provider of payment processing services and related technology for merchants and financial institutions, has appointed Larry Drury as its chief marketing officer. Drury will report directly to CEO Charles Drucker.

"Larry is a dynamic leader who comes to Vantiv with deep experience in both marketing and financial services," said Drucker. "In addition to his deep payments experience, Larry also brings our team marketing perspectives from across a variety of industries, both domestic and international. I am pleased to have him join the Vantiv team, and I look forward to his contributions."

Throughout his career, Drury has held a number of leadership positions at multinational companies, including serving as global head of commercial marketing and global head of brand management at Visa, chief marketing officer at First Data and as CEO of the Americas at FutureBrand, a global brand consultancy.

Drury has a bachelor's degree in international business and marketing from The University of Colorado and a master's degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance and strategy from The University of Cape Town.
