Valero Builds Its Namesake Brand

Tulsa, Okla., Valero Energy Corp. is consolidating its brand by converting more Diamond Shamrock gas stations to the Valero banner. About 40 of the company’s Diamond Shamrock stations have been converted already, and another 35 will take on the Valero banner by the end of the year.

In a move to build a better national brand, the company hopes to have 2,900 Valero-branded gas stations by the end of the year.
