Urban Outfitters Splits its Stock
Philadelphia, Urban Outfitters’ board of directors authorized a two-for-one stock split, which will be distributed on Sept. 23. "We are pleased to authorize this two-for-one stock split," said Richard A. Hayne, chairman and president. "It affirms our belief in the company's short- and long-term growth opportunities and reflects our confidence in our ability to deliver superior results." The chain owns 82 Urban Outfitters stores, 69 Anthropologie locations and four Free People stores.
