Uno looks to gain supply chain efficiencies with ArrowStream

Chicago ArrowStream has entered into a partnership to improve Uno Restaurant Group’s supply chain management process throughout Uno’s 200 company-owned and franchised locations and its Uno Foods division, which supplies airlines, movie theaters, hotel restaurants and supermarkets with frozen and refrigerated private-label foods and branded Uno products.

Uno will leverage the ArrowStream Network to reduce costs by optimizing inbound and outbound freight, creating more full trucks and reducing the number of empty miles traveled. Because The Network includes a large percentage of Uno’s trading partners, Uno will be able to quickly implement a more efficient freight strategy and realize the savings that come from this solution.

“We expect the ArrowStream Network to help us achieve significant efficiencies and savings while improving our service and inventory levels,” said Alan Fox, executive VP of Uno Restaurant.
