Uniqlo Pop-Up, San Francisco
The West Coast is getting its first taste of Uniqlo. The Japanese apparel powerhouse has opened a tech-inspired pop-up store, on Post Street in San Francisco. The temporary store will remain open until the end of September, prior to the opening of the company’s Union Square flagship.
Equipped with dressing rooms and such fun touches as a photo booth, the Uniqlo pop-up offers a selection of key items from the company’s signature product lines. It is intended as a prelude to the Union Square location, which will feature such varied elements as a spinning chandelier made with multi-screen TV monitors and a modern, communal gathering space.
In addition to San Francisco, Uniqlo has another fall opening upcoming: It will open a store on Sept. 28 in Westfield Garden State Plaza, Paramus, N.J.
