Uniqlo has completely revamped its flagship on Oxford Street in London, doubling the space from approximately 12,055 sq. ft. to 24,100 sq. ft. and adding two additional floors, along with a rooftop venue for special events.

Designed in collaboration with the retailer’s longstanding, Tokyo-based design firm, Wonderwall, the store includes such signature Uniqlo accents as LED tickers and rotating mannequins.

It also features a new “conceptual” sales area, called Uniqlo WearHouse London. The space, which will double as a cultural hub, has an indie look and feel that offers a dramatic contrast with the rest of the sleek-looking store. It be accessed either from within the store or from its own private entrance and elevator from Oxford Street.

As part of the opening, Uniqlo launched an online shopping assistant to act as a store guide. It can also check stock levels for customers at other Uniqlo stores in London.
