Unifi names new cfo

GREENSBORO, N.C. Unifi has announced that Ronald Smith has been elected as the company's cfo. He is replacing William Lowe, Jr., who has left the company.

Smith joined Unifi in November 1994 and has held positions as controller, chief accounting officer and director of business development and corporate strategy. He most recently held the position of treasurer and had additional responsibility for investor relations. Prior to joining Unifi, he was with the accounting firm of Ernst and Young.
