Ultra Logistics announces new VP sales

Fair Lawn, N.J. Ultra Logistics, a third-party logistics provider, announced the appointment of Barry Alexander as VP sales.

With more than 20 years working in the transportation industry, Alexander has proven success helping shippers find solutions to complex supply chain challenges. His operational experience at RPS (now FedEx Ground) provided him with insights into the daily challenges faced by shippers and provided a foundation for him to build on. After his seven-year tenure with RPS, Barry spent 13 years with Landstar Systems where he successfully implemented effective supply chain strategies for industry leading shippers.

We needed a candidate who has a strong grasp on the complete supply chain including transportation, TMS and network optimization.
