Tweeter CEO Steps Down

Canton, Mass., Tweeter Home Entertainment announced that its CEO and president, Jeffrey Stone, is leaving the company to become president and COO of Tivoli Audio, the consumer-electronics manufacturer in which Tweeter owns a 25% stake.

Tweeter CFO Joe McGuire will serve as interim CEO, effective immediately. Stone will remain with Tweeter through April 26 to assist in a smooth management transaction. He will continue to serve on Tweeter’s board following the departure.
