Tuesday Morning Q3 sales drop 6.4%

Tuesday Morning Corp. said Monday its net sales for the third quarter fell 6.4% on falling receipt totals and overall traffic.

Tuesday Morning posted a profit of $167 million in the third quarter, which is down from $178.4 million for the same quarter in 2008.

In the quarter, Tuesday Morning said same-store sales fell by 9.5%.
