True Value names new CIO

CHICAGO — True Value has announced that a new chief information officer has joined the company. Rosaelee Hermens will serve as True Value’s new CIO, in addition to being an officer of the company, effective last Monday, May 9.

As VP and CIO, Hermens is responsible for leading True Value's information technology team and managing the co-op's retail and enterprise systems. This includes all automated processes to support the wholesale business systems, including international distribution, order, inventory management, replenishment, merchandising and financial systems. She also supports member store retail systems and portal technologies for both vendors and retailers.

Prior to joining True Value Company, Hermens was the CIO for The Timberland Company.Additionally, Hermens has served in various leadership positions throughout her career – in addition to her CIO position at Timberland, she worked in leadership positions with Aspen Technology and Digital Equipment.
