Trend Tracker: Preserve-ing internationally

A&P’s Food Emporium, refurbished to be more international and upscale, has launched Mickelsen Gourmet Products exclusively at its Manhattan units.

Hand-crafted by the Mickelsen family, the product line includes sweetened fruit preserves (Papaya flavor pictured) and fruit jams, fruits preserved in juice and syrup, appetizers, sauces and gourmet meat products.

Presentation of the products is enhanced by their traditional jar packaging and A&P plans to offer them in specially-designed gift packages that target corporate gift-giving and special occasions.
