Trend Tracker: Notebooks charge up accessories

Notebooks are the hottest category in computers and they’re driving increased sales of accessories.

According to The NPD Group, sales of notebook accessories are up 9% through May, with total unit sales of 5.9 million.

Products that are selling well include computer bags (Targus pictured) and portable chargers.
