Trans World to Close 130 Locations

Trans World Entertainment Corp. expects to close about 130 stores during the next few weeks.

"We're constantly reviewing our store portfolio," said John Sullivan, CFO. "With all of these, the leases are expiring. Most are underperforming stores."

The closures will leave Trans World with about 830 stores, most of which operate under the brand name f.y.e. (For Your Entertainment).
