Tractor Supply names new lead director

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. Tractor Supply Co. announced that S.P. Braud plans to retire from the company's board when his current term ends on April 29. At that time, Cynthia Jamison will succeed him as the board's lead director.

Jamison has been a member of the company's board of directors since 2002 and serves as chair of the audit committee and as a member of the compensation committee.  She is also a national managing partner at Tatum LLC.  

Jim Wright, chairman and CEO, stated, "Cindie has made significant contributions to our Board since she joined the Company eight years ago, and we look forward to working with her in a greater capacity.  We are confident that she will continue to make strong contributions to our business as we execute our growth strategies in 2010 and beyond."
