Tractor Supply campaign yields $763K for 4-H
Tractor Supply Company has strengthened its partnership with the National 4-H Council by taking in $763,283 for the organization during a 10-day national in-store fundraiser.
With the $1.5 million Tractor Supply raised during spring and fall campaigns, Tractor Supply has now donated nearly $6.5 million to 4-H programs across the country in just over four years.
"This fall's Paper Clover Campaign was another huge success thanks to our dedicated customers," said Christi Korzekwa, vice president of marketing for Tractor Supply Co. "We exceeded our goal, and we couldn't have done this without them. These campaigns give us the opportunity to enhance our stores' communities and provide support to our valued partner in the National 4-H Council and its local programs."
Tractor Supply Co. and Del's Feed and Farm Store, a division of Tractor Supply, raised the money by asking customers to donate $1 to support 4-H.
Seventy percent of the funds benefit state and local 4-H youth development program activities, such as local camps and after-school programs, for 4-H youth in the communities where Tractor Supply and Del's stores are located.
Thirty percent of the funds are donated to the National 4-H Council to support its national 4-H initiatives.
Focused on youth and farming, the 4-H organization has more than 6.5 million members in the United States, and takes its name from four personal areas of growth: head, heart, hands and health.
